1. About this policy

Teebaba (Teebaba, “we,” “us” or “our”) operates this website and store, powered by Shopify. This policy explains how we collect, use and share personal information when you browse, shop, use our services or contact us.

Personal information means information that identifies you or can reasonably be linked to you. It does not include anonymous or de-identified information that cannot reasonably be linked to a person.

By using our services, you acknowledge that you have read this policy and understand the practices described here. If this policy and our Terms of Service conflict about how we handle personal information, this policy applies.

2. Information we collect

Depending on how you use our services, where you live and what the law permits or requires, we may collect or process:

  • Contact details: your name, email, phone number, and billing and delivery addresses.
  • Payment and financial details: card and financial-account numbers and information, payment method, transaction details and payment confirmations.
  • Account details: your username, password, security questions, preferences and settings.
  • Shopping activity: products you view, add to your cart or wishlist, buy, return, exchange or cancel, and your transaction history.
  • Messages: information you give us when contacting customer support or otherwise communicating with us.
  • Device and connection details: your device, browser, network, IP address and other unique identifiers.
  • Website activity: how and when you browse or interact with our services.

We may also draw inferences from this information, such as your shopping preferences.

3. Where information comes from

We collect information:

  • From you when you shop, create an account, use our services or contact us.
  • Automatically from your device and your use of our services, including through cookies and similar technologies.
  • From service providers that supply technology or process information for us.
  • From our partners and other third parties.

4. How we use information

We use personal information to:

  • Run the store and fulfill our agreement with you: process payments and orders, arrange shipping, handle returns and exchanges, manage accounts, send order or account notices, remember preferences, enable reviews, personalize recommendations and improve our services.
  • Market our products: send promotional email, text messages or postal mail, and show advertisements on our website and elsewhere, including ads based on your purchases, cart contents and other activity.
  • Protect customers and the store: authenticate accounts, secure our services, protect public safety, and detect, investigate or address fraud, illegal activity and other harmful conduct.
  • Help you: answer questions, provide customer support and maintain our relationship with you.
  • Meet legal obligations: respond to lawful requests, investigate or participate in legal proceedings, and enforce or investigate possible violations of our terms and policies.

Keep your account login details private. Do not share your password or other account-access details with anyone else.

5. When we share information

We may share personal information for the purposes described in this policy:

  • With Shopify and service providers that help with technology, payments, analytics, customer support, cloud storage, order fulfillment and shipping.
  • With business and marketing partners that help us advertise. For example, Shopify helps us provide personalized advertising through third-party services using activity across merchants and websites. These partners handle information under their own privacy notices.
  • When you ask us to, direct us to or consent to sharing, including for delivery, social-media features or login integrations.
  • With affiliates or other companies in our corporate group.
  • As part of a business transaction, such as a merger or bankruptcy; to meet legal obligations or respond to valid legal requests; to enforce our terms; or to protect our services, our rights and other people's rights.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to opt out of certain sharing for targeted advertising. Use our privacy choices page:

6. Shopify's role

Shopify hosts our store and processes information about your access to and use of it to provide and improve the services. Information you submit is shared with Shopify and other providers, including providers outside your country.

We also use Shopify enhanced features that help protect, grow and improve our business. These features may use information from your interactions with our store, other merchants and Shopify. For this processing, Shopify is responsible for handling your information and responding to applicable privacy-rights requests.

7. Your privacy rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

  • Access or learn about the personal information we hold about you.
  • Ask us to delete your personal information.
  • Correct inaccurate information.
  • Receive a copy of your information and, in some circumstances, have it transferred to another party.
  • Opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of your information, or its use for targeted advertising, as those terms are defined by applicable law.

These rights may have conditions and exceptions. We may decline a request where the law allows it.

Use the privacy choices page above or contact us using the details at the end of this policy. We may need to verify your identity. Where permitted by law, an authorized agent may act for you; we will require proof of their authority and may also need you to verify your identity directly.

We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights. We respond within the time required by applicable law. For rights involving Shopify's own processing, use Shopify's Privacy Portal.

8. Advertising and email choices

Global Privacy Control
If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we treat it as an opt-out request for that browser and device where applicable based on your location. If we can associate the device with a Shopify account, we also apply the request to that account. We do not recognize other browser or device “Do Not Track” signals.

Promotional emails
You can stop promotional emails using the unsubscribe link in those emails. We may still send non-promotional messages, such as order updates and account notices.

9. Security and how long we keep information

No security system is perfect, and information may not be secure while being transmitted. Please do not send sensitive or confidential information through unsecured channels.

How long we keep personal information depends on why we need it, including maintaining your account, providing services, meeting legal obligations, resolving disputes and enforcing agreements or policies.

10. Children

Our services are not intended for children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children below the age of majority where they live. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has given us personal information, contact us to request its deletion.

As of this policy's effective date, we do not have actual knowledge that we “sell” or “share” personal information of anyone under 16, as those terms are defined by applicable law.

11. International transfers

We may transfer, store and process personal information outside your country.

For transfers out of the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we rely on recognized safeguards, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent UK contracts, unless the destination has been recognized as providing an adequate level of protection.

12. Other websites and public posts

Our services may link to websites or platforms we do not control. Review their privacy and security policies and terms before using them. We do not guarantee or take responsibility for their privacy, security or the accuracy, completeness or reliability of their content. A link does not by itself mean we endorse the site or its operators, unless we say otherwise.

Information you post in public or semi-public places, including social-media platforms, may be visible to others and used by us or third parties without the restrictions that apply to a private communication.

13. Questions and complaints

Contact us if you have a privacy question, want to exercise your rights or wish to make a complaint about how we handle information.

Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to appeal our decision by contacting us, or complain to your local data-protection authority.
